Information we process
We process your account and login identifiers, public profile, adult-status and residence declarations, messages, publication permissions, uploaded media, reactions, reports, purchases, credit history, session and security information, and communications with support. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the feature you are using.
Why we process it
We use this information to provide accounts and content, carry out your sharing choices, process purchases, prevent abuse, investigate reports, answer requests, maintain records and meet legal obligations. Optional notifications follow your settings. Optional advertising measurement is described below.
Who can see it
Profiles and content made public can be viewed by their audience. Private messages and locked content have access controls. Authorized staff may access information when needed for support, safety, security or legal duties; sensitive administration requires additional authentication and relevant actions are logged. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect people’s rights and safety.
Service providers and international processing
WHOZLI uses Clerk for identity, Resend for notifications, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention and Hostinger infrastructure for hosting and the support mailbox. Stripe is configured for payments, which remain unavailable while provider approval is pending. Each provider receives information needed for its function. WHOZLI does not receive your full card details. The application server is in France, hosting-provider backups are in the Netherlands, and the Resend sending domain uses its North Virginia region. These locations do not mean that every provider operation or subprocessor is confined to those regions. Other provider processing may occur outside the United States.
Security and retention
HTTPS protects information in transit. Private content uses authorization checks, and external report details are encrypted by the application. WHOZLI is not an end-to-end encrypted messenger. We keep content while your account and permissions require it; closure starts a seven-day cancellation period. Daily application backups rotate after seven days. Hosting-provider backups follow a separate weekly rotation that retains the two most recent copies. Restricted recovery snapshots are kept separately for deployment recovery and reviewed when they are no longer needed. Closed external report details are cleared after 90 days unless a lawful preservation obligation requires otherwise. Deleted details may remain in restricted backups until those copies are replaced or expire; the seven-day application rotation does not cover every backup. Limited file fingerprints may be retained to prevent identical uploads of removed material. Financial, security and audit records may remain where needed for applicable legal obligations, fraud prevention or an active dispute. These records are restricted and are not public clues.
Your choices and requests
Use Settings to edit your profile, manage notifications, export data or request account closure. You can withdraw applicable content permissions, block users and report content. Contact info@whozli.com for access, correction, deletion, portability, appeals or requests through an authorized representative, including without an account. We may need proportionate verification; do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through a suitable channel. Rights and response periods depend on the law that applies to you. We will not require a purchase to submit a request.
Children and changes
WHOZLI is for adults. We restrict access when we learn an account belongs to a minor and investigate reports of a child’s data. Report concerns to info@whozli.com. We will date changes to this notice and provide additional notice where required.
Advertising measurement (TikTok)
With your optional consent, WHOZLI uses TikTok Pixel (TikTok) on the home, Getting started and For creators marketing pages to measure visits and campaigns. TikTok receives technical data such as your IP address, browser/device information, page URL and advertising identifiers, and may use cookies for measurement and personalized advertising. This may constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. The pixel is not installed on account forms, private messages, user profiles, checkout, reports or administration. We do not send message content or account identifiers through this integration. TikTok may process data outside your state or country under its own privacy policy (https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/privacy-policy/en).
Advertising privacy choices
Advertising tracking is off until you select Accept optional. Select Reject optional to continue without it. You can change or withdraw your choice using Privacy choices on marketing pages or the Cookies and Privacy pages. A Global Privacy Control signal or Do Not Track set to 1 keeps tracking off, even after a previous acceptance. We store your choice in this browser for up to 180 days; clearing site storage removes it. Withdrawal stops future collection, not information already sent to TikTok.
